Dr Eos runs an independent medical practice to deliver the highest quality care combining alternative, holistic, conventional and complementary therapies to prevent illness, treat disease, and to help people of all ages to create optimal health. She provides office appointments, Home or Phone Visits when truly needed for continued care and information technology to access up-to-date medical information, patient educational materials, records and referrals. Dr Eos is a resource for Community & Family in preventing disease, disabilities, violence, accidents, disparities and in bringing balance to the global earth and its peoples. She teaches Reiki, Homeopathy, Preventive Medicine and Shaman techniques. Dr Eos is the Medical Director for SUNY-Sullivan Emergency Medical Services EMT Training Program at Sullivan County Community College and volunteers at the Marbletown First Aid Unit ambulance squad.
Dr Eos is a medical doctor and homeopath with her office in North Marbletown near Kingston NY about 2 hours Northwest of New York City. Graduation in 1978 was from the University of Michigan Medical School, which was a homeopathic school in the early 1900’s. After a surgical internship in Detroit MI, she practiced Emergency Medicine in hospitals, Family Medicine in clinics and volunteered in the states and overseas. Initially Dr Eos followed her 1990 National Center for Homeopathy training as a single high dose prescriber, then listened to Robin Murphy and became a low dose prescriber, then read Hahnemann’s 6th Organon and added LM’s. She became licensed in Homeopathy in 1991 in Arizona while being a U.S. Commissioned Officer in the Indian Health Service where two federal hospitals under her medical directorship had extensive homeopathic pharmacies. Dr Eos had a large percentage of the homeopathic licensed doctors of the USA come to work on the reservations during her time there.
Volunteering from 1997 to 2000 she was a physician in rural India working with Indian Homeopathic and Ayurvedic physicians. Presently she volunteers as the Medical Director for the Emergency Medical Services training at Sullivan County Community College (SUNY-Sullivan) and is the Medical Advisor for the Volunteer Ambulances of Livingston Manor, Roscoe, and Rockland in Sullivan County. She is also an Emergency Medical Technician EMT-B volunteer with the Marbletown First Aid Unit local ambulance in Ulster County. Dr Eos coordinates medical plans with other Health Care Providers such as medical specialists, psychologists, massage therapists, reflexologists, nutritionists and chiropractors.
Medical education was in the University of Michigan Medical School, where Dr Eos graduated with an MD, medical doctor degree, and later taught in the Surgery Department of Emergency Medicine and was a helicopter flight physician for Survival Flight.
Experience includes Emergency Helicopter Rescue, Trauma & Cardiac Life Support, Hazardous Materials, Environmental Illness Response Team and Inpatient & Outpatient Medical Care. Dr Eos was an emergency medicine physician for twenty plus years and draws upon this knowledge every day.
American Holistic Medical Association: While on the Board of Directors of the AHMA, Dr Eos trained in: visualization, herbs, sound, nutrition, vitamins, meditation, oils, Ayurvedic and plant spirit medicine. The AHMA is now AIHM the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. Ahhh… how times change…
NAET – Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique and advanced training was with Dr Nambudripad herself at the pain clinic in Buena Park, California. NAET is a great way to clear allergies from a person’s system. NAET is also a basic help to many chronic ailments such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome and autoimmune disorders.
Reiki Master training was in the Alliance lineage. The book Reiki and Medicine by Dr Eos [Reiki and Medicine is now being revised] is an account of some emergency department cases of Dr Eos where Reiki was used to change a patient’s deteriorating course. Reiki is part of all of her energy work.
Homeopathy training was 1990-1992 with private homeopaths and the National Center for Homeopathy. Licensed in Homeopathy in Arizona, Dr Eos used remedies in a government hospital where she created an extensive homeopathic pharmacy within the conventional government hospital pharmacy. She has given homeopathic case presentations at national seminars and may use high-dose, low-dose, liquid or LM doses in her prescribing. The self-published book Homeopathy Basic Life Support by Dr Nancy Eos is presently being completed.
Shaman Study: Dr Eos is a graduate of professional training and teaching of Shamanistic Studies including plant spirit medicine, illuminations, extractions, soul retrieval, and destiny tracking. Besides teaching in the United States, she taught with Shamans in Peru.
Government Service was in the United States Commissioned Corps, Indian Health Service, where she was a Medical Director of two Hospitals on Western US Native American reservations.
Volunteer: Dr Eos served in India for a mobile hospital, at international eye camps, and US mountain adventure treks & trail restoration projects. In February 2010 she helped set up and see patients in a homeopathic clinic in Haiti after the Earthquake.
